FRIENDS OF MARAGA VIP DINNER- FIRST EDITION

by S. Maingi and Nyamisa Chelagat
Change is on the menu! On Saturday November the 22nd , I invited Kenyans to join me for my first Friends of Maraga VIP dinner at the Sarova Stanley Hotel, Nairobi.
This reflective dinner brought us together for an opportunity to convey the Ukatiba Philosophy, our plan for the economy, as well as a message of hope, purpose and dignity. The funds raised go towards the logistics of running a Campaign Secretariat tasked with developing the best of our people’s ideas to industry investment and social impact.
As a youth-driven party, we welcomed young aspirants seeking elective positions in 2027, into our UGM Party. The young leaders urged Kenyans to shun the politics of corruption and unconstitutionality that had driven our country towards the path of destruction .They further urged young Kenyans to sign up as voters and to turn out it in large numbers to support our candidates across the country.
In my keynote address, I shared my practical blueprint and commitment to drive Kenya back to the roots of our Katiba. My disciplined five-point economic plan rooted in our Ukatiba Philosophy included :
- Balance the national budget by cutting the cost of politics, capping debt, cancelling fraudulent contracts, and freezing non-essential borrowing.
- Fix the business environment by reducing high taxes, addressing over-regulation, and opening up capital markets to spur investment and job creation.
- Launch a National Youth Apprenticeship Program to upskill and employ 4 million young people within three years.
- Build a digital and innovation-driven economy through investment in IP, AI, technology, and county-based industrial zones to export ideas, not people.
- Fight corruption decisively by enforcing existing laws, eliminating conflicts of interest, and digitizing all procurement and government operations.
I invite you to join Maraga Movement, sign up at UGM Party , and Donate Today to power our campaign.
Reset. Restore. Rebuild
