Ideological Grounding

The Katiba Road

Every great leader finds grounding through something, one may call it a higher power. It could be in religious philosophy, cultural systems, a guru, etc. David Maraga has been open about the spiritual inspiration behind his grounding, his courage, his ability to fear no man except that higher power. The beauty of Kenya’s Constitution is that it offers freedom of worship so that one is free to find grounding through any system of beliefs. Below, the Maraga inspiration is placed parallel to the Katiba Road that connects all Kenyans of all faiths. It primarily informs us that one’s faith needs not be a liability to others, but an inspiration that gives them incredible courage and is applied towards the greater good of the nation.
